Oddly, although my favourite books to read are historical romances especially Georgette Heyerand although Barbara Cartland wrote an astonishing books in her lifetime, this is the first time I have actually read one. She also finds out that her heart beats much faster, when or is next to Justin. I could not believe, you see, that anyone could be so beautiful, so perfect as you – and come to me unsullied, unspoilt.

An Cagtland, was published in Thus in the end, I can not recommend this work to others who like the Regency, and since it was difficult enough for me to find, 65 years after it was first published, seeing it fade away from the canon of regencies we read might be better than urging any to find it and read it as well.
